Dolby Atmos

The SR-X40A sound bar is a 2.1.2-channel design which consists of left and right front speakers, dual built-in subwoofers, and left and right up-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. The precision-crafted speaker drivers and advanced audio reproduction technology employed by the SR-X40A, combined with Dolby Atmos, create a sound field that envelops and transports you deeper into your favorite TV shows, movies, games, and music.
Bass Extension and Wireless Subwoofer Ready
The SR-X40A incorporates dual built in 3" subwoofer units. In addition, the Bass Extension enhances any bass signal to ensure a rich and powerful sound. For even more bass and better low frequency response, add the wireless Yamaha True X Sub 100 Subwoofer (sold separately).
